There's no question that Kenny Deuchar was a decent goalscorer in his day. Dubbed 'The Good Doctor' by Soccer Saturday host Jeff Stelling due to his scoring feats for Gretna, the striker hit 56 league goals in two seasons as the tiny border club surged up the league.
By 2008 though Gretna were in dire financial trouble, and the practicing GP knew he had to look elsewhere. He started by sending his CV to clubs across the world, and eventually earned a move to Real Salt Lake in MLS.
