Kenneth Vargas will join Hearts permanently this summer after the club took up an option on his loan deal. The Costa Rican international, who helped his country book their spot at this summer's Copa America over the weekend, signed on loan from CS Herediano last summer.
After taking some time to settle, the 21-year-old has started to hit form, netting seven goals and laying on another three in 34 outings for the Jambos.
He's also scored in every round of the Scottish Cup so far, with a semi-final clash against Rangers looming. Now "Huevito" has committed his long term future to the Tynecastle outfit, penning a five-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The capital club have been getting their business for next season done early as Vargas becomes the fourth player to sign on for next term.
