Kendall and Kylie Jenner are responding to the backlash after accusations spread that their fashion brand, Kendall + Kylie, did not pay factory workers in Bangladesh.
The rumors began circulating after Instagram users found out that Global Brands Group (GBG) wasn’t paying workers. The sisters are now clarifying that their company is not owned by GBG. “We would like to address the unfortunate and incorrect rumor that Global Brands Group owns the Kendall + Kylie brand and that we have neglected to pay factory workers in Bangladesh as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic,” the sisters said in a statement. “This is untrue.
