Kemar Roofe was shown a red card for a high and wild challenge on Slavia Prague goalkeeper Ondrej Kolar. The Rangers attacker had only been on the pitch for five minutes when he was chasing a deep ball into the Slavia box during the Europa League clash.
Roofe went in studs-up – although clearly going for the ball – and caught the Czech goalkeeper flush in the face before being given his marching orders in the last 16 tie.The clash brought a long stoppage in play as Kolar received treatment on the park.It was a horrible challenge that meant the shotstopper had to be stretchered off and replaced by youngster Matyás Vágner.
