Kazuo Ishiguro's famed 2005 dystopian science fiction novel Never Let Me Go is getting its own series.FX has greenlit a new show - which will stream on Hulu in the United States - based on the book, and starring Kelly Macdonald, 46, Tracey Ullman, 62, and Viola Prettejohn according to The Hollywood Reporter.The series will see Prettejohn - who's best known for her work on HBO's The Nevers - star as Thora, a rebellious teenage clone who escapes the boarding school where she's kept along with the other clones and sparks a revolution.

Aside from The Nevers, the up and coming star's credits only include an episode of The Witcher and one in TV series Counterpart.Meanwhile Macdonald most recently starred as Lizzie Nealey in Netflix crime thriller I Came By, and is perhaps most famously known for her role as Margaret Thompson in HBO's Boardwalk Empire.
