Kellogg's has revealed its iconic cereals will be getting a makeover and will be fully recyclable from next year, as part of a trial run.The food company has announced that the trial run will be run in partnership with a small selection of Tesco stores in the UK from January 2022 and that it will see the plastic inner liner replaced with a recyclable paper version.Currently, the plastic inner liner of your morning Cornflakes or Rice Crispies is not accepted in kerbside recycling, which is why the packaging technologists at Kellogg's have come up with a sustainable solution.Kellogg's has said the new recyclable packaging will need to keep the cereal fresh for its 12 month shelf life and be able to withstand the process of filling, sealing
