Kelce, the documentary chronicling Philadelphia Eagles team captain and All-Pro center Jason Kelce‘s epic year leading to his Super Bowl LVII matchup against his brother Travis, is now the streamer’s most-watched documentary ever in the U.S.
It beat out Val for the top spot. After premiering on September 12, Kelce had the biggest first three days ever for a documentary film in the U.S.
It debuted at No. 1 and has remained in the Top 5 movies on Prime Video throughout the first three weeks of its release. Amazon didn’t release any viewership numbers for the film, though it will surely be somewhere on the Nielsen streaming charts in the coming weeks (Nielsen reports streaming audience data about a month delayed). “We’re extremely proud of Kelce and thrilled to share in its record-setting success with our partners at NFL Films, Skydance Sports, 9.14 Pictures, and Vera Y Productions,” said Matt Newman, head of Prime Video Original sports content. “Kelce is the perfect example of the type of documentary we want to make at Amazon.
