Kaye Adams was the first star to be booted off Strictly Come Dancing 2022 after a tense dance off with Matt Goss. Both stars faced each other in the dreaded dance-off, with Kaye and her dance partner Kai Widdrington performing their Charleston, whilst Matt and his dance partner Nadiya Bychkova performed their Samba in a bid to impress the judges and remain in the competition.
After Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse voted for Kaye to go home, it was Anton Du Beke's vote that sealed her fate, although head judge Shirley Ballas said she would have chosen to save Kaye and send Matt home.
After Kaye's emotional exit, she penned a sweet post on social media paying tribute to her professional partner Kai. She wrote on Twitter: "Well, it was a much shorter journey than I'd hoped for but a journey all the same!

"You were an absolute gent the whole way through and made me realise that my two left feet could be turned into dancing ones.
