Kay Burley gave a clue that she could be leaving Sky News after she was suspended for breaking lockdown. The presenter, 60, was banned from being on-air for six months after she was found to be in Covid breach for her 60th birthday.

It was expected Kay would return to her post "in early June" but it appears she may have quit her job as the longest-serving anchor on Sky News.

The hints were all over her social media profile as the presenter removed Sky from her bio. Originally her Twitter bio used to read: "The longest serving anchor on Sky." It now reads: "More live TV than anyone else, yes, really.

Animal lover. Mountain climber. Impossibly proud mum." The Mirror has approached Kay and Sky News' representatives for comment.
