mirror.co.ukKatya Jones and Nicola Adams have been forced to pull out of this year's Strictly Come Dancing show after the Russian professional tested positive for coronavirus.
The couple - who made history as the first same-sex pairing in the show - won't be permitted to join again and must now stay isolated until later this month - with both admitting they were "totally gutted" to be leaving.
It's believed Katya tested positive without symptoms, while Nicola has tested negative. Katya will have to self-isolate for 10 days, while Nicola must stay in quarantine for 14 days as she has been in direct contact with Katya.
The couple will not be replaced as the series has already kicked off. The PA news agency reports that a number of Strictly crew members
