Katy Perry has bravely opened up about her past battle with depression as she prepares to welcome her first child. The singer, 35, who could welcome her daughter with fiancé Orlando Bloom any day now, says she suffered with her mental health during her Witness tour in 2017.
Katy had split from Orlando at the time, with the couple later getting back together and engaged. Reflecting on her past struggles, the star says she's since learnt how to "compartmentalise" her feelings.
But at the time, things were so bad that she didn't even want to get out of bed, and nobody could convince her. The Roar hitmaker told The Guardian : "Nothing, no opportunity, no person could inspire me to get out of bed.
