Katie Price will avoid jail time for speeding as her driving offence is being dealt with remotely under the single justice procedure.The 44 year old glamour model has been charged after allegedly speeding over the 60mph limit in her BMW near her house – dubbed the 'mucky mansion – in Horsham, on 17 September 2021.
Reality star Katie is not obliged to appear in court as it can be dealt with by a fine and/or points on her license and a driving ban.
She cannot be jailed under the procedure. Her case is listed at Crawley Magistrates Court, but it will be dealt remotely under the Single Justice Procedure, which was set up in 2015 to deal with minor traffic offences and low-level fare evasion.
