Katie Price thought police at front door were Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway wind-up
ok.co.ukReality star Katie Price revealed she once thought Ant and Dec were playing a prank on her when she had a knock on the door from the police.
Katie was married to Peter Andre at the time and thought it was a segment from Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway. Recalling the incident on Jamie Laing’s Private Parts podcast, Katie said she was used to other celebs and fans playing tricks on her so it was the first thing that came to her mind.
She recalled: "Peter went, 'Oh Kate the police are here,' and I said, 'Tell them to come back later we're going for a curry', He said, 'They said it's pretty serious, come down.' They weren't in uniform.
So I said, 'How do I know you're really the police?'" She continued: "I phone [manager] Clare and said we've got police officers here and they reckon they've got something serious to tell us.
