Katie Price starts 'big tattoo project' after spending seven hours getting inked

Katie Price has started a huge new tattoo project as she got inked for seven hours straight recently. The former glamour model shared a snap from celebrity tattoo artist Jay Hutton's studio as she lay on the bed with her leg exposed.

Katie, 44, is no stranger to tattoos and has various pieces of ink on her body from her thigh, to her arms and midriff. Jay posted the snaps to his Instagram page, writing: "The start of a new big tattoo project on @katieprice - coming soon." The mother of five posed alongside the tattoo artist as she sported a peace sign for the picture.Katie reposted the pictures to her 2.6million followers, and penned: "Omg sooo good today 7half hours of ink just you wait and see x".

In December, Katie revealed her largest tattoo to date, and in tribute to her love of all things equine, Katie got a horse with flowers trailing behind it tattooed across the entire span of her stomach.The star was also seen at the time with new ink on her thighs - an eagle wing on each, accompanied with flowers, coming together in the shape of a love heart.Katie is no stranger to tattoos and already had an array of ink before her recent tats, such as flowers on her arms and a garter around her leg.

Both Katie and Carl have tattooed portraits of one another on their forearm in the past.This comes after the newly-single star was revealed to be reportedly sending flirty messages to Ibiza Weekender Callum Izzard - who is 17 years her junior.
