Katie Price slams Joey Essex going on Love Island with brutal remark and speculates about show fee

Katie Price has slammed Joey Essex’s stint in the Love Island villa. The TOWIE legend became the first celebrity bombshell to enter the villa on Monday 3 June, but it doesn’t looks like everyone approves of his decision. "I don't think it was a good move for him,” the former glamour model said on her podcast, The Kate Price Show.

As her sister Sophie speculated whether he had earned a fee for his appearance on the ITV show, Katie exclaimed: “Of course he has!” Commenting on the star’s time in the villa so far, the mum of five said: "But it's weird how none of the girls went for him and yet they all said they fancied him. "I was pretty shocked he was on it.

I think he's got quite a high status to be going on that show, he's quite established himself," she said, even claiming he’d be too big for the “Celebrity Love Island”.

Katie and Joey have worked together on TV shows in the past, as she paid compliments to the former TOWIE star. "I like Joey I did SAS with him and I really really like him," she said.
