Katie Price has opened up about the regret she feels over not meeting up with Caroline Flack during her time of need, before the tragic death of the former Love Island host.Caroline took her own life on February 15, 2020 aged 40, just days after it became clear she might face prosecution following an incident with her boyfriend Lewis Burton.Reflecting on her death, Katie, 46, revealed that Caroline had reached out to her seeking advice on how to handle the media, as her relationship troubles were making headlines.In her new autobiography 'This Is Me: The high life.

The FULL story', the mother-of-five wrote: "I regret that I never got to talk to Caroline Flack before she died," reports the Mirror."She was working with a mutual friend in America and had messaged me because she was being hounded by the press and wanted advice on how to deal with them.
A lot of the stuff they were writing about her was hurtful and not true and she was upset."Katie went on to say that they had planned to have "a proper conversation" when Caroline returned to the UK, but sadly, they never had the opportunity."We never got to have that catch-up because she committed suicide only a few weeks later.
I have nothing more to say on that other than what a complete waste of a beautiful life," she penned.Katie admitted that it took her some time to come to terms with Caroline's death, knowing the extent of her struggles.She continued: "I have a lot of empathy and even though it might not have made any difference whatsoever, I would have tried.
