Katie Price has reportedly sold two of her family pets after admitting she is bankrupt. The reality star, 45, is said to have advertised her pet chihuahua Captain and her Pomeranian and Chihuahua mix Batman on freeads.co.uk last week, listing them for £2,000 each.The advert for her chihuahua Captain, which she bought in May 2022, read: "Very handsome black chihuahua entire male, loves attention, can be timid in new scenarios, good with children and other dogs." Both dogs have now been marked as sold on the website, with a source telling The Sun that her kids will likely be 'upset' by the news.

The insider told the publication: "Katie's kids will be so upset when they realise their pets are gone, but at this point, Katie has too many dogs. "She loves getting them when they're puppies but goes off them when they grow up." The Mirror reports that investigators are currently probing how bankrupt Katie can still fund her lifestyle.

The mother of five, aged 45, has reportedly failed to keep up with her monthly repayments of £1,200 to clear the £3.2 million debt owed to multiple creditors.

In January, Katie said that her financial troubles are "not the end of the world." She added: "I think it's quite good I am in bankruptcy – it's made me re-evaluate things.
