Katie Price's musical comeback as star hints at big return to singing career

Katie Price has teased her return to music, which she says has always been her "dream".The TV star excitedly shared the announcement yesterday, revealing her "comeback".The former glamour model, 46, previously enjoyed a musical career, with the star releasing her first studio album, A Whole New World in 2006 with then-husband Peter Andre.The 12 song album included the title track, a duet cover of the famous song from Disney’s Aladdin, which the couple performed together for Children in Need in 2005.

Katie even narrowly missed out on representing the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005 with her pop song Not Just Anybody, competing in the UK’s deciding TV competition, pregnant and clad in a pink rubber catsuit.

She ultimately finished runner up to Javine, who went on to perform as the UK’s act at Eurovision that year. Now, mum of five Katie has teased her return to the stage, taking to Instagram to share: “Singing has always been my dream and finally I get to tour around singing.” She added: “My comeback has started so your be invited to my next invite.” The star shared the news along with a photo of her performing in a lacey black dress.

Microphone in hand, taken as she sung for the crowds at Manchester Pride this year, where she had a headline set.The event in late August saw Katie take to the stage with a cover of ‘We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off’, originally by Jermaine Stewart.
