Katie Price is surrounding herself with family as she continues to recover from her life-changing foot surgery. The former glamour model, 42, joined her mother Amy Price and little sister Sophie for a family weekend in West Sussex.

Determined to take doctors' advice of resting her feet and staying in bed, Katie dramatically quit social media after after fears her feet have become infected.

Her weekend with family was "just what the doctor ordered" according to a source close to the mum-of-five. The insider told Sun Online : "Kate has had a really hard few weeks.

Injuring her feet was bad enough. But then she got the diagnosis and had to go through the operation. Recovering has been really hard and she knows it is going to be a long road."
