ok.co.ukKatie Price has revealed that she had to put her five-month-old Sphynx cat to sleep, amid a petition calling for her to be banned from owning pets.The 46 year old former glamour model has faced criticism over the years following several tragic incidents involving her pets, seeing the petition reach over 37,000 signatures.
One incident occurred when her German Shepherd was hit by a car on the A24 near her East Sussex home. At the time, she shared the sad news and mentioned that it 'upsets her to talk about it', but added that there was a 'police investigation about it'.
Just six months prior, her dog Sharon met a similar fate on the same road. In the previous year, her dog Queenie, a gift from ex Kieran Hayler, was hit by a delivery driver.
In 2020, Alsatian Sparkle was struck by a car after running onto the A24 and her French bulldog Rolo tragically suffocated after getting trapped under a chair.
