Katie Price has quit social media after issuing a cryptic statement earlier today. The former glamour model is currently enjoying a romantic trip to Thailand with fiancé Carl Woods, and was even spotted trying on wedding dresses throughout the trip.

Katie, 44, took to Instagram and wrote: "I will be coming off all social media for a period of time. I need to take time off for personal reasons.

Thank you to all my loyal fans for always supporting me XXX" Katie removed the option to comment on the post but it has already wracked up thousands of likes.

The mother of five issued the statement to her 2.7million followers on both her main Instagram page and her Instagram Stories.This social media update comes after Katie cancelled a string of upcoming make-up masterclasses in England this week.
