The former glamour model, 42, took to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, 15 December, to suggest she made the blunder due to the 'language barrier'.
In the clip Katie is seen lying in bed and showing her freshly pierced ear bearing two gold studs as she reveals something "funny" had happened that day.
She said: 'I have filmed it for my YouTube and I'll show you guys. You won't believe what has happened. "It goes to show when you can't speak the language, things get confused!
