The star, 42, had been enjoying a relaxing break with two of her children and new boyfriend Carl Woods, 32, when the freak accident took place.
Katie had tried to jump over a small wall but did not realise there was a massive drop on the other side.She was rushed to hospital for emergency surgery where medics put pins in her feet to help her walk again.
Katie told how she considers herself ‘lucky’ after the horror fall which she believes could have left her paralysed, the Daily Star reports.
