Katie Price is 'devastated' after a petition resurfaced calling on her to be banned from keeping pets. The petition was initially started after the mother-of-five's French Bulldog puppy Rolo died three weeks after she bought him for 13-year-old Princess in July, to help her move on from the loss of a dog that had been run over.

A spokeswoman for Katie said the telly star was "devastated" at the petition. She claimed it was "unkind" and "based on hearsay" and insisted "Katie loves her animals".

The petition, signed by some 5,700, states: "A puppy has died in Katie Price's care... In the last 5 years more animals have died from lack of care.
