Katie Price blames heartbreaking call from Princess for flipping car while drink-driving

Katie Price has opened up about a tear-jerking phone call from her daughter Princess before her horrific car crash. In September 2021, she horrifyingly flipped her car near her Sussex home, and it was reported in December of the same year that she tested positive for cocaine and alcohol at the accident site.The 43 year old admitted to the officers post-crash: "I took drugs, I should not be driving, I admit it all." Now, in her most recent book, This Is Me, Katie revealed what drove her to get behind the wheel under the influence.The star candidly notes that on the night of the tragedy, she was by herself but had hosted a few friends earlier.

She shares: "One of them had some coke on them and, yes, I had a little bit of it, probably a couple of lines, it wasn't even a lot.

I had some alcohol too." Declaring that this behaviour isn't typical for her, Katie uncovers that a worrying call from her daughter Princess instigated her decision to step into her car, reports the Mirror.

In her own words, the former glamour model said: "I could tell she was upset so I asked her what was wrong. My daughter was ringing to tell me she wasn't allowed to see me and my heart just broke." Katie Price also opened up about her tumultuous life, confessing she was "frantic" and "wasn't thinking straight", further revealing: "I needed to go right that minute and I didn't care that it was 2am.
