Katie Price announces Christmas pantomime role amid bankruptcy hearing

Katie Price has announced a huge career move as she joins the cast of a pantomime in Liverpool over Christmas. The former glamour model took to social media to share a first look of her in character after she recently dodged court again for her £3.25 million bankruptcy case.

Katie, 44, appeared alongside her fellow cast mates to promote the show as she will be playing the wicked fairy Carabosse in Sleeping Beauty at the M&S Bank Arena.The Mucky Mansion star donned a purple sequinned dress with horns, as she captioned the snap: "I'm beyond excited for this...Catch me as Carabosse in Sleeping Beauty at the M&S Bank Arena, Liverpool over Christmas."This is Katie's first pantomime role since 2015, as it was teased earlier this year that she had a massive acting gig in the works.

While the panto is family-friendly, it's been confirmed there will be an adults-only showing on December 27 later this year.

Katie's panto comeback was revealed back in January as a source told The Mirror at the time: "She’s most excited about landing a massive role in a pantomime.
