Katie Price and JJ open up on relationship as she says people think he's her 'nephew'

Since going public with their new romance last week, Katie Price and MAFS' JJ Slater appear smitten with one another. And spending some time in Dublin this weekend, the pair walked their first red carpet together.

Attending Goss.ie's award show The Gossies, the Glamour Model, 45, opened up on her relationship and admitted that JJ, who is 14 years her junior, has been mistaken for her nephew by some.

Chatting about how the reaction has been from the public since revealing that they were together, Katie said: "They've actually been alright," as JJ chimed in to say it was "better than he expected." Katie then added: "Mind you, everyone has said today that he looked like my nephew". "Nephew is quite funny though isn't it?" said JJ as he attempted to make light of their age gap, with his girlfriend agreeing.The pair were also probed on how they met during the interview with Goss.ie, to which Katie was determined to remain tight-lipped. "Wouldn't you like to know?" she teased. "But put it this way, It's not just quick, we got to know each other behind the cameras before anyone speculates anything." Katie was previously in an on/off relationship with Carl Woods, and is mother to five children - Harvey, 21, Junior, 18, Princess, 16, Jett, ten, and Bunny, nine.

JJ rose to fame in 2023 while appearing on E4's Married At First Sight UK, where he was matched with hair stylist Bianca Petronzi.
