Katie Piper's acid attacker "fled the UK two months" ago, as police continue their hunt to find him. Stefan Sylvestre threw sulphuric acid in Loose Women star Katie's face in 2008 on order of her bitter ex boyfriend Daniel Lynch, leaving her with severe burns and blind in one eye.The star, now 38, spent months in intensive care and had to undergo multiple skin grafts for the facial disfigurements and she still bears scars on her face and body from the horrific attack.

Sylvestre, now 34, received a life sentence in 2009, although he was told he would be eligible for parole just six years later, before eventually being released in 2018.

He has now been recalled back to prison for breaching the conditions of his license, but police have so far been unable to track him down, and in a statement, the Met Police said he "left the UK" in August.

The statement read: "Police were notified on Friday, 23 September, that Stefan Sylvestre, 34 (02.06.88), had been recalled to prison.
