evoke.ieKatie McGlynn tackled some pretty difficult stories on Coronation Street during her time on the soap. In fact, her exit from the Cobbles saw her character Sinead Tinker die from cervical cancer in a heartbreaking moment.
She stepped away from the soap in 2019 after taking on the role of Sinead in 2013. After leaving fans heartbroken, the actress, understandably, took some away from the camera but now 18-months on she has booked a new gig.
And it looks like she is a firm fan of soapland and is content to stay there. The 27-year-old shared the good news that she would be returning to our screens much to the delight of fans.
