Katie McGlynn shuts down ‘nonsense’ fight rumours with Maura Higgins

Katie McGlynn and Maura Higgins were pictured at the TV Choice Awards back in 2019 looking like they were having a heated argument.

It was reported at the time that the Corrie star and the Love Island beauty had a ‘furious row’ during the award ceremony. Now Katie has set the record straight explaining that she was probably just telling her a story.

She explained that she gets very ‘animated’ when she’s explaining something, but it definitely wasn’t a fight. Speaking to The Sun, she said that she had ‘a couple of gins’ but to say that they were arguing is ‘nonsense’. ‘Maura and I are not best mates, but I’ve met her a few times and we get on,’ she told the publication.
