She first heard the track when her dad played it to her when she was 12 or 13 years old and Billie is heard thanking Katherine for helping her through some sad times in her early teens.The bad guy hit-maker explains: ‘This song that I want to play first is a song called Over It by Katherine McPhee.
I think I was about 12 or something… we were in the car, dad and I, and the chorus has this beautiful melody that is one of those melodies that make you feel something.
