justjared.comKatharine McPhee went live on Instagram on Sunday night with an American Idol-themed show and she even tried on some of her outfits from her days on the show!
The season five runner-up wore the jacket from her audition while doing a cute sketch to introduce the special Instagram show.
She later brought out the yellow dress she wore from the Top 6 round and tried it on for a fun photo. During the show, Kat performed songs she did on Idol, including “I Have Nothing,” a song written by her now-husband David Foster.
Before singing the classic ballad, Kat did a FaceTime call with judge Simon Cowell and they talked about his criticism of her performance of that song! Kat also sang her audition song “God Bless the Child,” plus “Someone to Watch
