Katharine McPhee Signs New Record Deal, Will Make First Solo Album in 7 Years!
justjared.comKatharine McPhee is back in the music game! The American Idol alum has signed an exclusive record deal with Nashville-based label Melody Place, according to Music Row. Katharine will be making her Grand Ole Opry debut on October 12 and she’ll record her upcoming album in Nashville.
New music is set to be released in early 2025! “I’m excited and happy to get back into the studio and record some new music, especially in Nashville, where I had such a great experience,” Katharine said in a statement. “I’m a little overwhelmed making my Opry debut during their 99-year celebration, but it’s going to be fun!” Katharine‘s most recent solo album, I Fall in Love Too Easily, was released back in November 2017.
She teamed up with husband David Foster for the holiday album Christmas Songs, which was released in two parts across 2022 and 2023.
