Kate Middleton reportedly has a catchphrase she uses to keep her children's behaviour in line when they're being naughty. Known as her 'secret code' it is said to help 'calm the children', which can be used during public royal events.
The Prince and Princess of Wales, known for their hands-on parenting approach with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, often let the public glimpse their children's cheeky personalities.The youngsters, particularly George and Charlotte, are notorious for pulling funny faces during public appearances, while little Louis made headlines when he stole the spotlight at the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee in 2022.
However, when Kate feels their antics are crossing a line, she resorts to a 'code' to issue a warning.This was revealed by royal expert Tom Quinn in his book Gilded Youth, An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family.
He penned: "When Prince Louis misbehaved at the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee for example, by sticking his tongue out at his mother, Kate's reaction was praised by a team of expert commentators.
