Kate Middleton has released a heartfelt new statement and video message, in which she confirmed that she has now completed her course of preventative chemotherapy.

In March, Kate, 42, who shares children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis with husband Prince William, bravely shared the news that she was undergoing a course of preventative chemotherapy.

In a lengthy and very personal message today, the Princess of Wales says she is looking forward to undertaking a handful of public engagements over the coming months, but says her focus is on “doing what I can to stay cancer free”.

Alongside the new update on Kate's health, some beautiful pictures have also been shared, showing the royal family embracing on a beach and spending time in the tranquil surroundings of a forest.
