Kate Middleton's family break silence after cancer diagnosis with sweet childhood snap
ok.co.ukKate Middleton's brother has reacted to her cancer diagnosis by posting a sweet throwback picture of them together. James Middleton posted a snap of a young Princess of Wales climbing a mountain, as he wished her well with an inspiring message.
He captioned the image: "Over the years, we have climbed many mountains together. As a family, we will climb this one with you too." On Friday 22 March, Kate underwent abdominal surgery in January and at the time it was thought her condition was non-cancerous.
Following the procedure, tests showed cancer had been present and the Princess of Wales, 42, is now undergoing a course of preventative chemotherapy.
Speaking in a video message, Kate said she "looks forward to being back when I am able, but for now I must focus on making a full recovery".
