Kate Middleton and Prince William were bombarded by uncomfortable questions when they stepped out on a red carpet Thursday night.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 41, stayed close — showing off rare PDA while holding hands — as they attended the Royal Variety Performance.

Despite smiling for cameras, the pair awkwardly dodged questions about Omid Scobie’s new book, “Endgame.”The Dutch translation of the biography was quickly yanked from shelves earlier this week, as the edition accidentally shared the names of two members of the royal family who brought up “concerns” over what color skin Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s child would have.In 2021, Harry and Markle initially divulged to Oprah Winfrey that the Windsor clan commented on how dark their son Archie’s skin would be before he was born.

Piers Morgan then appeared on his eponymous “Uncensored” show Wednesday and named the people in question: King Charles III and Middleton.
