Kate Middleton gave a praising speech to teachers during her Caribbean tour in her first public address since arriving in Jamaica.
The 40 year old commended the region’s mentors for taking on “the crucial role of shaping society” as she visited the Shortwood Teacher Training College on Wednesday 23 March with Prince William located in the country’s capital of Kingston.
Stepping to the podium inside the centre, Kate said: “You as teachers are at the frontline of this vital work and play a crucial role in shaping our societies by positively impacting the futures of literally thousands of young people over the course of your careers.

You can sign up at the top of the page. “Decades of science and research have shown us that our earliest experiences establish the fundamental foundations that shape and connect our future lives. "It is when we learn how to form relationships, connect with one another, how to manage our feelings and emotions and it's when we learn how to develop a sense of identity.” Kate was pictured smartly dressed as she gave her speech wearing a white blazer with matching straight leg trousers and court heels and an orange ruffled blouse underneath.
