Kate Middleton 'left in tears' after Prince William 'changed New Year plans', says book

Before the couple were married in 2006, William reportedly cancelled their plans for the bells, leaving Kate fearing for the future of their relationship.
At the time, the future King changed his mind about spending New Year's Eve with Kate and her family, before ultimately cancelling altogether, according to a royal book.
Royal author, Katie Nicholls, wrote in her 2011 book, The Making of a Royal Romance, claims William had promised Kate he would bring in the bells with her family, before deciding to stay with his family instead - and informed her on the phone on Boxing Day.Katie writes: "William had been having second thoughts and sat down with his father and his grandmother to have a frank discussion about his future with Kate.
