Today the Prince and Princess of Wales expressed their support for Team GB's Paralympics squad as the Paralympic Games commence in Paris tonight with a grand opening ceremony.They retweeted a post by Paralympics GB, which excitedly announced: "It's today #Paralympics".
In a show of encouragement, William and Kate responded: "Looking forward to another few weeks of incredible sport! Wishing the very best of luck to our @ParalympicsGB athletes and all those competing at #Paris2024." Their tweet was personally signed off with 'WandC', indicating a direct message from the couple themselves.
William and Kate have always been enthusiastic sports fans; they were present at the London Paralympics opening ceremony in 2012.
