The Duchess of Cambridge has been given a direct phone line to the Queen to ask advice and to give updates on George, Charlotte and Louis, it has been claimed.
The Monarch and Kate have a very strong relationship and the duchess has reportedly perfected the balance of treating her as both head of the family and great-grandmother to her children.
Royal author Duncan Larcombe claims that Kate calls the Queen regularly to check how she's getting on during the lockdown. He says that she was the one who taught the Monarch how to use video calls so she could keep in touch with the rest of the family.
