Kate Middleton is well known for being a good sport and always throws herself into any challenge on a public appearance. And she demonstrated this wholeheartedly at a training session at Twickenham last year, just hours after she was named the new patron of the English Rugby Football Union.
Keen to show off her skills on the pitch, the Princess of Wales joined a group of players to practice a line-out that would mean she would be hoisted into the air.
The player who was responsible for boosting her up seemed embarrassed as she gave a warning to the royal that she’d have to put her hands on to her bum to lift her up safely.
Kate then had a very surprising reaction when the move was performed, despite the player telling her she wanted to make her “aware” of what was about to happen. As Kate was hoisted up, she jokingly said “Oooh” which prompted the mortified sportsperson to apologise profusely, saying “Oh, I’m so sorry” before the two both burst into laughter together.Kate is getting her rugby head on again today as she’s heading to Hull to take part in a Rugby League Inclusivity Day, as reports the Mirror. She’ll highlight the importance of the Disability Rugby League, of which she is also patron, and is set to try her hand at wheelchair rugby as well as Physical Disability Rugby League, a running version of the game.
