The Duchess of Cambridge donned a tartan dress as she organised a special lunch of traditional haggis, neeps and tatties for NHS heroes in Scotland to celebrate Burns Night.

Alongside husband Prince William, the couple sent a message today to hospital workers working flat out at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.

The royal couple, who started their relationship while at St Andrews University, teamed up with NHS Charities Together and Tayside Health Fund to provide a traditional Burns celebration lunch to 200 staff treating coronavirus patients.

The future King and Queen also arranged for royal warrant holders to donate Burns Biscuits and gift boxes to a further 100 staff to thank them for all they have been doing.
