Derek Draper, a former Labour lobbyist, caught coronavirus in March 2020 and was taken to hospital where he was put in an induced coma.
Kate has previously told how Covid 'wreaked havoc' on Derek's body and he spent just over a year in hospital before returning home in April 2021, where he has needed round-the-clock care ever since.
