dailyrecord.co.ukKate Garraway has started working on an emotional documentary all about Covid-19 and the effect it has had on the nation including her husband Derek Draper, who has been in hospital since March.
Speaking earlier this month, the TV presenter said there have been “big ups and downs” since Derek was rushed to intensive care at the beginning of the pandemic with Covid-19, with fears initially he might not recover.
He has now tested negative but remains in hospital because of the impact the virus had on his body. It's thought he is the UK's longest-fighting Covid-19 patient.And Kate is using her own unique viewpoint to front an ITV documentary where she will speak to a wide variety of people to investigate the impact the virus has had on.
