The Good Morning Britain host, 53, appeared on Lorraine today and spoke about her husband Derek Draper uttering his first word since coming out of his coma.
Derek had appeared to mouth the word 'pain' when staff at the hospital told him to tell them if it hurt at all when they moved him.
He later repeated the utterance while Kate was in the room and she revealed that the moment had left her shocked and hopeful, but was also bittersweet as it showed that Derek was feeling pain.
