Kate Garraway has revealed her 'heroic' children have found a way to communicate with their father Derek as he is still unable to speak.
The Good Morning Britain star, 53, opened up about how different life has been since her beloved husband returned home earlier this month after spending a whole year in hospital following coronavirus complications.
The doting mum-of-two says her Darcey, 15, and William, 11, are her heroes, and she is proud of them as they have adapted and know how to communicate with their dad on his road to recovery.
Speaking to Zoe Ball on BBC Radio 2, Kate said: "He isn't really able to speak at the moment so he can't tell him off, I have to be the bad guy!
