Her husband Derek Draper contracted COVID-19 in March and has remained in hospital since, even enduring a lengthy stint in ICU.
This meant the TV presenter had to look after their children Darcey and Bill by herself, while also putting on a brave face and getting back to work, nevermind managing her own distress about her husband’s condition.
