Kate Garraway returns to GMB after 'calamitous' Christmas without Derek Draper

mirror.co.ukKate Garraway has returned to Good Morning Britain to host alongside Ben Shephard after her "calamitous" Christmas break. Her husband, Derek Draper, is still in hospital after a horrific coronavirus battle left him recovering from a medically-induced coma.
Ben said: "Welcome back, Kate!" Kate replied: "Happy new year, can we still say that at this stage? It's the first time we've seen you, isn't it?" Ben added: "We are going to catch up with what Kate and I got up to over Christmas , I know a lot of you are interested to see how Kate and the family were, as am I." But, he added, it was more pressing that they discuss the US capitol riots first.
