Good Morning Britain's Kate Garraway is reportedly facing a heart-breaking £150,000 bill stemming from the closure of her late husband Derek Draper's business, Astra Aspera. The ITV star has been hit with demands to pay a £32,000 flat fee on top of 40% of assets recovered from the psychotherapeutic company. The I'm A Celebrity alum, who tragically lost Derek back in January, is also staring down the barrel of an additional £112,836 owing from a director's loan taken out by her former Labour Party advisor husband. This is on top of the staggering debt of £1.5million she is already left with due to the costs of care and dues to taxman.

With Astra Aspera Ltd winding up in debt of £184,096.96, Kate was saddled with an extra £716,000 tax bill. Another company tied to her, Praespero 100 Ltd, saw its assets dwindle by £87,043 during this year.

In light of these events, she has reportedly sought the assistance of London financial experts Hacker Young to respond to HMRC's requests, reports The Sun.

Hacker Young specialises in matters relating to 'tax investigations and litigation support'. Despite her stern financial struggles, Kate shares that there's no loss for the love for her job, once stating that she felt "ashamed" of being in debt while having such an "incredible" and "well-paid" role at ITV, reports Birmingham Live.
